As we transfer our business needs to the cloud, conferences must assure that a meeting facility has enough bandwidth to handle the demands for internet connectivity during your conference.

Mobile Applications have become very popular in the past few years and are being created for just about everything, mobile apps for conferences are a topic of discussion in the meeting planning field.

The current Conference Organizers Handbook was published in 2009. Since then several policies, procedures, and services have changed. Also, to make it easier to find the information you may need we have redesigned the handbook. The 80-page document will be replaced with a collection of 1 – 5 page guideline documents and worksheets on particular subjects.

Going into a conference, both you as the conference organizer and the attendees have pre-conceived notions of how the conference will go and what you will get out of it. After the conference, it's important to follow-up with attendees to find out if it met or exceeded the attendees’ expectations. Surveys teach us what if anything should be done differently in the future.

IEEE has for some time offered, free of charge to conference organizers, a convenient publishing tool called PDF eXpress. Recently IEEE introduced PDF eXpress PLUS.
