Belgium
Contact Name:
Prof. Dr. Ann Dooms
Subject Area:
Information Forensics and Security
Start Date:
18 April 2024
Expiration Date:

Position Description:

We have 4 vacancies for part-time research professors at the Department of Mathematics & Data Science at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.

These 10% research professor positions aim to bring in complementary expertise to the MaDs research group. Preferably, the research is located in the intersection of different domains or offers the potential to bring different lines of research together.

We aim at junior as well as senior profiles interested in a part-time affiliation at the VUB.

The professors will support our research by attracting national (FWO, VLAIO, Belspo, Innoviris, ...) and/or international funding (EU ERC, Marie Curie, ...), (co)supervising PhD students, attracting post-docs and by publishing in high-impact journals. Possibility of cooperation with industry is a plus.
