The Signal Processing Letters is a periodical that communicates in short format new theoretical results and advances in signal and data processing algorithms, whose rapid diffusion and archival is essential to advance the field. Supplementary material is meant to complement such publications in two ways. Results are often simple to state, but not as simple to prove in compact form. In theoretical papers supplementary material can contain lengthy proofs of the results. For algorithms, the description can be brief, however allowing the reader to reproduce the results may be challenging. In such papers the publication will be complemented by the open source software highlighted in the article.
